SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition


A more flexible deployment option than Public Cloud allows custom code, deeper configuration, and closer parity with traditional on-premise ECC implementations, while still being cloud-hosted.


WHAT THE IMPLEMENTATION INVOLVES

  1. Conversion path assessment determining whether the engagement is greenfield (new build), brown field (technical conversion from existing ECC), or blue field / selective data transition (hybrid).
  2. Custom development ABAP enhancements, custom Fiori apps, and modifications not possible in Public Cloud.
  3. Deeper configuration full latitude across modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.), not limited to pre-set scope items.
  4. Technical basis work system sizing, landscape setup, upgrade/patch management.
  5. Integration & data migration typically more complex than Public Cloud due to legacy custom objects and interfaces carried over.
